Aunt Chelsea's Wedding....

The Kids had a great time at Aunt Chelsea's Wedding on May 22, 2008. Ever since the wedding Ashlee says that she's a princess and insists on wearing her orange dress all the time! Thank goodness for Grandma Debbie- she saved us all and took her to get "princess" jammies and a "princess" costume so that we could ditch the heavy orange dress that sheds salt-like beads all over the house- and it has lost it's bussels so she trips over it too!

Alivia Noelle Ward

After about 6 hours of labor Alivia was born at 3:13pm on Tuesday, May 27th 2008. She shares her birthday with her Aunt Stephy & Cousin Brandi. She is a great sleeper & eater...At the hospital right after she was born, the 3 different times that she nursed she turned blue and had to be rushed to the NICU where she stayed for 2 days. The Dr. thinks that she just swallowed too much fluid at birth...She's doing great now! This taught us to be thankful that all of our children are healthy, happy and at home with us!!! There certainly is a lot worse that could happen and we are very blessed to have everything okay! We love her and so does her older brother & Sissy- they love to sit and talk to her and tell her all kinds of stories! (especially Ashlee!)

What the kids have been up to...

Well, I have to say that there is nothing in the world like raising kids...You have days and moments where you cry because you cannot believe that you have such beautiful, precious children given to you to care for and then you have moments that you cry (maybe because I'm pregnant) just because it's a heavy load & responsibility to care for these beautiful, precious children...And then you have days that are just plain funny or crazy! (I now kind of understand my mom- but as for me 4, not 6 is enough kids to have- I don't want to go completely crazy, just kind of crazy...j/k!!!)

Winter days spent decorating, painting, sewing etc...

Yes, it's been a long time since I've updated our blog! I've been spending almost every free moment decorating, sewing, painting, etc...I've just got a little touching up to do & I'm finished! Now it's time to start on the yard! It's never ending...
